Traditional Prefold Cloth Diapers

The trusted standard in cloth diapering for decades. This traditional style was successfully used by our grandmother’s grandmothers, and is still the most common cloth diaper style in North America.  

Prefold diapers are 3-panel rectangular diapers made from multiple layers of lightweight, gauze woven fabric with extra layers in the center panel for absorbency. Made of super soft, cotton twill, these diapers can be wrapped around baby’s waist and fasted with a Snappi or folded into a rectangular insert (called a trifold) and then placed inside a waterproof diaper cover.
