How It Works
Baby’s Best Diaper Service is an eco-conscious, diaper delivery subscription service. Each week we deliver cloth diapers & diapering supplies directly to your door.
We use gentle, plant-based detergents for laundering linens and carry everything you need to sustainably diaper your baby from birth to potty training.

1. Choose which Base Subscription Package, Cloth Diaper Style & Add-on Services are right for you by visiting our Diaper Service Options page.

Cloth diapering is easy with the right tools. In addition to your standard changing station supplies, here’s what we recommend you start with:
4-8 Waterproof Diaper Covers
2-4 Snappi Clasps (for Prefold Diapers)
2-4 Waterproof Ditty Bags
2 Waterproof Diaper Pail Liners (optional)
1 Diaper Pail (we provide a Rubbermade Tote for this purpose each week, but some client’s prefer a step trash can or designer pail instead)

2. Once you’ve made your selections, Register for Service to reserve your cloth diapers and create your account.
Registering for diaper service is easy and there are two ways to do it:
Add Register for Service and any accessories you need from our store to your cart, fill out the form when prompted and proceed to check out. During the check out process you will be prompted to fill out a registration form with all of your delivery details and create your account by completing your purchase and saving your payment information. You’ll receive a confirmation email and our office will call you in the following 2-3 business days to finalize your account details, answer any questions and schedule your first delivery.
Contact us directly via the form on our website or call our office at (707) 296-4491 to register over the phone and we can set up your account together.
When you register for service, only the registration fee and the cost of any purchased accessories is due that day. Your monthly service subscription fee will not be charged until you activate your weekly service.
The registration fee is non-refundable and covers the cost of creating your account, reserving your cloth diapers, preparing your items, your first delivery and the initial grace period.
We recommend people register for service 4-6 weeks before they’d like to begin weekly deliveries to ensure availability. If you’d like to begin service immediately, contact us. We aim to sustainably diaper as many children as possible and will schedule your first delivery as soon as possible.
3. Schedule your First Delivery and Finalize Your Account Details
After you register for service, our office will call you within 2-3 business days to confirm your account details, schedule your first delivery and answer any additional questions you may have.
We schedule your first delivery of diapers either 1-2 weeks prior to your due date or at an appropriate date of your choosing. This is when any accessories ordered from our store will also be delivered. After you receive your First Delivery, you have 4 weeks to Activate Service before being charged the service fee & added to our monthly, recurring billing cycle. You will not be charged a service fee during the Grace Period, which allows for the unpredictable nature of birth. Please activate your service as soon as you start using diapers so we may add you to our delivery route. If you wish to wait to activate service for longer than 4 weeks, please call us to make special arrangements or to retrieve all of the items we provided. We will then place you on an extended hold and can reissue your diapers at a later date. Please see our Policies, Terms & Conditions for further details.
4. Activate your service and begin weekly pick up, laundering and delivery.
When your baby is born and you begin using diapers activate your service by texting, calling or emailing us.
Diapers are delivered once a week between 11am - 6pm on your scheduled delivery day. Leave your bin with any used items out for pick up by 11am (even if there are only a few) and our driver will deliver your diapers before 6pm. The specific time of your delivery will vary depending on your location. We will notify you of your scheduled pick up day during our confirmation call following service registration.
(coming March 2024) To help avoid missed pick ups we send a weekly reminder text before your scheduled delivery day. Please opt-in to TextSMS service when prompted as we will send out occasional important service updates.
Making adjustments to your account is easy.
Babies grow larger and family’s diapering needs change. Our diaper service can adapt and grow with you from birth to potty training. Our subscription packages are customizable and making changes to your weekly delivery is simple.
You can make account adjustments by texting or calling our office, sending us an email at care@babysbestdiaper.com or logging into your client account.

*Please note that we do require adequate notice to apply requested changes to your account. Our required lead time is determined by the nature of the request and can vary from 48 hours up to two weeks. Please see our Policies, Terms & Conditions page for full details.
We have options if you miss a pick up day.
If you forget to leave out your diapers on your delivery day, don’t sweat, it does happen! The driver will still deliver your clean diapers, however unless additional action is taken we will not have clean diapers to deliver the following week and will only deliver a fresh bin. We offer two options for missed pick ups:
You may hang on to your soiled diapers and we will pick up both bins the following week. Please note that putting off washing does make diapers more prone to staining, mold bloom or other damage. Please see our policy on lost or damaged diapers.
Text “SPECIAL PICK UP REQUEST” to your Client Text Thread or call (707) 296-4491 to schedule a second pick-up at your address within the next two days. We charge an additional fee for this service to pay the driver and compensate them for their gas. The fees are determined by your address’s distance from our facility and are as follows: $20 for Arcata, McKinleyville, Trinidad, Blue Lake & Fieldbrook, $25 for Bayside, Freshwater & Eureka and $30 for Fortuna or Ferndale.
Billing is easy and you can cancel at any time.
Baby’s Best Diaper Service is a subscription service. We charge your card on file once a month after you activate service and you can cancel anytime after the minimum 4 week service commitment has passed. Diaper service makes a wonderful present and we have gift certificates available that can be applied to weekly service or items from out store.
